Yes, I think the best way to use the PD tether system is to embrace it wholeheartedly. I’m happily using two straps (a leash and a cuff) and it’s made life a lot easier.

I bought one a while back having gone out for a street photography session with friends and discovering I’d forgotten a strap. I now have tether points on all my cameras and this is my go to strap for day shooting, particularly street or travel. The only downside I’ve found is occasionally it makes using a vertical grip on a DSLR awkward. Highly recommended.

You are right about the wear in the ash one. The leather fades with use, but quality of the strap and anchors remains the same.
